Gerardo Torrado could be the third case in Mexican soccer to test positive for coronavirus. According to several media outlets, the sporting director of Mexico’s soccer federation could have gotten Covid-19 when he traveled to Europe alongside Enrique Bonilla confirmed he had the virus.

Torrado started to show some symptoms related to coronavirus and he is now waiting for the results to come back. The former Cruz Azul player has been isolated and is under medical care until they get his results back.

The other two cases involving Mexican soccer members are the league's president Enrique Bonilla and Atletico San Luis president Alberto Marrero. Both of them got the Covid-19 when they traveled to Europe a few weeks ago.

Bonilla’s case was different because he did not show any symptoms but tested positive for coronavirus and informed everyone late Friday night.
