Bank schedules in the US will change from 28 April until 3 May
Wells Fargo, CitiBank and Bank of America will readjust their schedules due to the coronavirus pandemic from the end of April until the beginning of May.
Since the United States began the quarantine period in mid-March, many businesses decided to shut down until further notice in order to stop the spread of the coronavirus. Banks are considered an essential service and they have remained open throughout the outbreak but they have been operating on special hours.
These days you can do many of your bank services online or via mobile applications in order to avoid going to your nearest branch and potentially being exposed to Covid-19. Many banks recommend that their customers check the application or the website first and if the service they need can’t be done there, then go in person.
New schedule during Covid-19 outbreak
CitiBank
They have over 105 branches across the United States and they are one of the most popular banks in the country. CitiBank changed their business hours during the outbreak and now they are open Monday through Friday from 10am-4pm, Saturdays from 11am-2pm and are closed on Sunday.
It is important to know that because of the pandemic some branches have decided to shut down until further notice, so before you make the trip to your usual branch check on their website to see if they are open or closed.
Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo is another popular bank in the United States and has remained open during the coronavirus pandemic. Their new business hours between 28 April until 3 May are Monday-Friday from 9:30am to 4:00pm, Saturdays 9am-12pm and on Sunday they remain closed. Wells Fargo has also closed some of their branches completely so before going to one check their website to see if they are open or closed.
Bank of America
They have also been open throughout the pandemic but before going to one of their branches check their website to see which one is open. From April 28 to May 3 Bank of America will be open Monday - Friday from 10am to 4pm, Saturdays from 10am to 1pm and Sunday they will not operate.
