It's matchday 5 in the English Premier League and we have some belting games to look forward to including a Merseyside derby with so many unexpected narratives and the return of a familiar face to The Etihad. Let's dive inside and see what the weekend has in store...
Premier League matchday 5: headline fixture
Following the international break, the English top flight returns with some highly anticipated match-ups, and it is arguably the most intriguing game that gets us underway.
Everton vs Liverpool (Saturday 17 October, 1:30pm, Goodison Park)
Carlo Ancelotti couldn't have dreamed of a better start to the season. Not only has his side won their four games, putting them top of the table, they have also scored 12 goals across those games. Two of the stand-out players for The Toffees have been James Rodríguez - believed surplus to requirements at Real Madrid - and 23-year-old Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has already bagged two hat-tricks this season.
Against them, last season's runaway Premier League champions, and neighbourly rivals, Liverpool. The Reds come into this derby having had plenty of time to ponder the manner of the record defeat they suffered last time out - a 7-2 humiliation to Aston Villa - and knowing that a decade without loss to Everton is a statistic that appears more are risk than ever. Seeing Thiago Alcantara and Sadio Mané available for this one will help, but doubts will remain. Is the trip across Stanley Park the perfect fixture for Jürgen Klopp and his boys to restate their authority? We can't wait to find out.

Premier League matchday 5: talking points
It's not only Liverpool that will be looking to rebound this weekend. Both Manchester City and Manchester United have started the season in rather concerning fashion and will feel that a big result is needed to get themselves back on track.
Guardiola's City followed up a 5-2 home defeat by Leicester City with a 1-1 draw against newly-promoted Leeds United while United have lost two of their opening three games, including a 6-1 thrashing at home to Tottenham Hotspur last time out.
Premier League news:
City host Arsenal on Saturday while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's United side travel to Newcastle United. United will be without new signing Edinson Cavani, who is isolating, and striker Anthony Martial after his red card in the defeat by Spurs.
Sunday's big clash will see Tottenham host West Ham United in what is expected to be Gareth Bale's return game for the north Londoners after arriving on loan from Real Madrid.
