All the records the Buccaneers could brake in Super Bowl LV

The Super Bowl is the biggest stage in the NFL and only selected teams and players have been able to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy at the end of each season. For this edition, Super Bowl LV, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Kansas City Chiefs to define the 2021 World Champion.

Tom Brady current records

This Super Bowl could see a number of records that could be broken regardless of who wins. Currently Tom Brady holds the majority of the numbers in his favor and in Super Bowl LV he can keep extending his legacy regardless of the outcome.

The 43-year-old quarterback has the most Super Bowl MVP awards (4), Super Bowl wins (6), games played (9), games started (9), oldest QB to start and win (41 years and 184 days), career passing attempts (392), attempts in a single game (62), career completions (256), consecutive completions in a Super Bowl (16), completions in a single game (43), career passing yards (2,838), passing yards in a single Super Bowl (505), career passing touchdowns (18), attempts without an interception (48) and most safeties by a quarterback (1).

Brady could add more to his name

There has only been one quarterback in the history of the NFL that has a Super Bowl win with two separate teams and that is Peyton Manning. The retired QB did it with the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLI and with the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50.

So Tom Brady could achieve that record with a victory today against the Kansas City Chiefs. But not all the records are good, because if he throws three interceptions in Super Bowl LV, he will top the list and surpass John Elway who has eight.

Bruce Arian the oldest coach to win it

On the other hand, Bruce Arian enters Super Bowl LV at 68 years of age with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and if wins it he will surpass Bill Belichick (66 years and 298 days) as the oldest coach to lift the Vince Lombardi trophy. So if the Bucs win they will set a new record for the oldest coach and QB to win a Super Bowl.
