A new season of Fortnite is a synonym for fresh content such as new map locations, weapons, skins and collaborations between Epic Games and worldwide brands (as has happened with Marvel, Star Wars, PlayStation and Microsoft, among others). Fortnite's Chapter 2 Season 6 will start on March 16 and the big news is that it will feature Brazilian soccer star Neymar, with Epic Games and the player himself confirming the collaboration on Twitter with some sneak-peak content.

Neymar coming to Fortnite Season 6

As usually happens with any new content coming to the successful Epic Games' series, data miners had discovered hints and Neymar-related data before the company announced it. Twitter user @Hypex, one of the most followed Fortnite content leakers, noticed the official Fortnite Twitter account in Brazil changed its profile pic for a llama with a haircut reminiscent of Neymar's old mohawk do.

Later that day, the same user showed the teaser trailer of Fortnite's Season 6 and how some elements were highly related to Neymar: a number 10, which is Neymar's jersey number for the Brazil National Team and PSG; and the Brazuca soccer ball, the official soccer ball used during the 2014 FIFA World Cup 2014 held in Brazil.

Just a few hours after that post, the official Fortnite Twitter account released the Season 6 teaser trailer, announcing that it will start on March 16 and Neymar confirmed his participation by mentioning and sharing the tweet. This also might mean that the PSG soccer player might have an impact on the narrative of the new season.

Will Neymar have a skin in Fortnite Season 6?

The extent of Neymar's collaboration with Fortnite is still unknown. According to the elements revealed in the teaser trailer, it will be related to a soccer ball and a jersey but it doesn't mean it necessarily has to be a Neymar skin. It may be just related to Brazilian soccer.
