Herrera to replace Ferretti next tournament

According to sources from AS Mexico, the bosses have chosen Miguel Herrera as their new manager for the next tournament. The Mexican manager has a good relationship with Tigres UANL president Mauricio Culebro and they will make the official announcement after the participation of the team in the 2021 Guardianes tournament.

Herrera has proven to be a very successful manager in the Liga MX winning two Liga MX titles with Club América (2013 Clausura and 2018 Apertura), one Copa MX (2019 Clausura) and one Campeón de Campeones (2019). Tigres UANL will face Atlas on 8 May for the wildcard in a single-elimination match to advance to the first round of playoffs.
