The Milwaukee Bucks return home down two games to none after the Phoenix Suns won both matchups in Arizona. Tip of to Game 3 is set for 8 pm ET/ 5 PT.
The Phoenix Suns are two games away from winning their first NBA Championship in franchise history after taking the first two games on their home court. The series now shifts to the Midwest as the Milwaukee Bucks look to claw their way back to level.
Paul and Booker set the two in Arizona
Chris Paul was sensational in debut in the NBA Finals in Tuesday’s Game 1. He scored 32 points in the final three quarters after going scoreless in the first 12 minutes of the opener. Paul’s heroics were followed up by a 30 plus point performance by Devin Booker, who looks like he is finally comfortable on the offensive end after breaking his nose against the Clippers last series.
Phoenix scored 118 points in each of the first two games, while the regular season’s top scoring offense was held to and average of 106.5 in the first games in Arizona.
Giannis made an incredible comeback in Game 1 of this series after hyperextending his knee in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. He looked explosive but out of rhythm in Tuesday’s game, but responded with a 42 point, 12 rebound performance on Thursday.
The Bucks are still looking for their first complete game this series. For that to happen, the Gianni’s supporting cast will have to step up tonight. Milwaukee has only lost one game at home in this years playoffs. That was in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals. They will look to get their eighth post season win in nine tries at Fiserv Forum
