The star wide receiver is now the third player in a week to be sidelined due to covid-19

Tampa Bay Buccaneers face covid-19 threat
Despite a very effective vaccine drive, the shadow of covid-19 continues to hang over the NFL. In the most recent case, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed wide receiver Antonio Brown on the reserve/COVID-19 list, making him the third player in the space of a week to be placed on the list. Brown joins inside linebacker/special teams captain Kevin Minter and practice squad wide receiver Travis Jonsen who were both sidelined due to positive tests.
Considered one of the best wide receivers ever, Brown, along with his teammates and all members of the Bucs' coaching staff, is fully vaccinated. As per NFL protocols, he needs two negative tests 24 hours apart to return to the field assuming he is asymptomatic. Players who are vaccinated are not subject to the mandatory 10-day quarantine unlike those who are unvaccinated.

Brown, who has already amassed 138 receiving yards in two games is quite possibly the Bucs' most versatile route runner - he can play the long game going deep while seamlessly changing to an inside approach with sudden bursts.
