Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks and brothers Peyton and Eli Manning have been giving their own spin on Monday Night Football via an alternative broadcast.

'Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli’, also called the Manning Megacast or ManningCast is a non-traditional remote broadcast, with the duo giving their unique take on the games.

An informal approach to football

They put the football action in a broader context and provide a historical viewpoint, as well as invite big names in the NFL, both past and present. They exchange stories with their guests and joke around with each other.

Other NFL stories:

The brothers sometimes do the show together physically, but usually 45-year-old Peyton does the telecast from his home in Denver, while 40-year-old Eli airs from his New Jersey residence.

The Mannings signed a deal with ESPN to produce 10 total broadcasts for the season. Thus, they will be missed on some weeks. The schedule for the whole season has not yet been released by ESPN.

The broadcast has been a success, with fans appreciating the brothers’ casual and lighthearted approach. Their guests might not be feeling as enthusiastic though, as coincidentally, all those who came on the show have lost their next games after their appearance on MNF with Peyton and Eli. The phenomenon has even been dubbed “The Manning Curse”.
