The Saints (5-3) are coming off a tough 27-25 loss to the Falcons last week, where they failed to get the ball bouncing their way for the first three quarters, and now go into Week 10’s game without their running back Alvin Kamara, who’s stepped out for a knee injury. Another big blow for the Saints.
On the flip side, the Titans (7-2) are on the verge of making NFL history as they come off of four straight wins, with the last one over the Rams in a 28-16 triumph last week. If the Titans defeat New Orleans Sunday, they get their fifth consecutive win against playoff teams from 2020, which would be their longest win streak against playoff teams from the previous season.
The Rams win was the first time the Titans played without leading rusher Derrick Henry, as he suffered a fracture in week eight and was placed on injured reserve. Nevertheless, the Titans showed a stronger defense, picking off Mathew Stafford twice, including a 24-yard interception return for a TD by Kevin Byard.
