Teofimo Lopez’s WBA (super), WBO and IBF lightweight belts are on the line when the American takes on mandatory challenger George Kambosos Jr this weekend.
Lopez and Kambosos Jr both unbeaten
Lopez, 24, takes a 16-0 record into the fight (including 12 knockouts), having added the WBA and WBO titles to his IBF belt in his surprise unanimous-decision win over Ukraine’s Vasiliy Lomachenko in October 2020.
Australian Kambosos Jr, 28, is also undefeated, with 19 wins and 10 knockouts to his name. His last fight also came in October 2020, when he claimed a split-decision victory over Britain’s Lee Selby.

Lopez vs Kambosos Jr will take place at Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theater in New York City on Saturday 27 November 2021.
Their ringwalks are expected to begin at about 11pm ET/8pm PT, but this is dependent on how long the undercard fights last.
