How and where to watch Washington Football Team vs Dallas Cowboys
The WFT will have to bring their best when they travel to Texas in what could be a ripple effect game.
This crucial NFC encounter between the Washington Football Team and the Dallas Cowboys could have far reaching effects on the playoff race in the division.
The WFT is in a bind
It would be unfair to speak about the Washington Football Team's current scenario without mentioning the massive covid-19 outbreak that occurred in the team. At 6-8, the WFT fell to the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday night in a 27-17 loss. 13 players from Washington including quarterbacks Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen are on the covid-19 list. The WFT acquired Garrett Gilbert, who has subsequently been thrust into the starting QB spot just four days after joining from from New England’s practice squad. With just three games left, the WFT can still make the playoffs, but that task will be made all the more doable if they can beat the Cowboys when they face off next.
Business as usual for Dallas?
The Dallas Cowboys now sit on an impressive record of 10-4 having most recently beaten the New York Giants 21-6 on Sunday. Quarterback Dak Prescott went 28-of-37 for 217 yards and a touchdown while TE Dalton Schultz caught eight passes for 67 yards and a touchdown. Not to mention RB Ezekiel Elliott who rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. The Cowboys’ defense forced four takeaways in the win as they made it three wins on the run. With a win against Washington on Sunday they can claim the NFC East while assuring a top seed spot in the playoffs.
