Lebron James and LA Lakers top NBA merchandise sales
The 37-year-old Lakers forward boasts the top selling jersey so far this season leading the way ahead of Golden State's Steph Curry and Bucks' Giannis.
There is no limits to LeBron James' popularity with, once again the Ohio born forward topping the NBA merchandise rankings for the first half of the 2021-22 season. His Los Angeles Lakers side also top the team listing when it comes to sales via NBA.com with the data relating to sales from 19 October (2021) through to 12 January (2022).
Curry and Giannis complete podium
Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry comes second in the shirt sales ranking as do his Warriors team also augmented by Klay Thompson sales with the player recently returning to action with the 31-year-old featuring at ninth position in the overall sales list.
Boosted by their NBA season triumph last season, Milwaukee Bucks power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo clocks in at third place on the ranking of player shirt sales.
Top 10 completed
The remaining players on the Top 10 listing are: Kevin Durant (Brooklyn Nets) in fourth place ahead of Slovenian Luka Doncic (Dallas Mavericks). Boston Celtic's Tatum takes sixth spot ahead of Memphis' Ja Morant. Atlanta's Trae Young, Klay Thompson and Trail Blazer Lillard close the top ten.
Team sales
The pattern for team sales mirrors that to a point of the player sales with the podium also falling into a Lakers-Warriors-Bucks, one-two-three.
