The race for Napoli forward Victor Osimhen is heating up with Real Madrid joining United in pursuit of his signature, according to Calciomercato.

Osimhen's Napoli contract does not expire until 2025 but both clubs are ready to flex their muscles and move for him in the off-season transfer window.

The 23-year-old forward's stock has risen dramatically since Napoli signed him for €70m from Lille in 2020.

The Nigerian striker has netted 11 goals in all competitions, prompting admiration from some top clubs with the player valued at around €80million by the Serie A leaders.
