The 65th annual Grammy Awards are moving back to the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles after taking place in Las Vegas back in 2022. Many of the stars attending will be hoping to join the growing list of artists who have won the prestigious award. However, there are some that have somehow never taken home the famous award.

Although the venue has changed, the host hasn’t, as Trevor Noah will be taking the Grammy stage for the third year in a row.

The 2023 Grammy Awards will air Sunday, February 5, at 8 p.m. EST on the CBS television network. And just by the nominations and performances alone, viewers can be expecting a star and hit-filled night.

In honor of the upcoming 2023 Grammy Awards, here is a list of five talented and iconic artists who have yet to take home a golden gramophone trophy.

Miley Cyrus

Even with hits such as ‘The Climb’, ‘Wrecking Ball’, and most recently ‘Flowers’ which recently became the fastest song to cross the 100 million streams mark on Spotify globally. The ‘Hannah Montana’ actress has only earned one Grammy nomination back in 2015 for Best Pop Vocal Album for ‘Bangerz’. Cyrus ultimately lost out on the award to Sam Smith for their ‘In the Lonely Hour’ album.

Demi Lovato

The ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer has only had two Grammy nominations, one in 2017 for ‘Confident’ as a contender for Best Pop Vocal Album which went to Adele for ‘25′. But she also earned a nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance alongside Christina Aguilera in 2018 but lost to Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper for their performance of ‘Shallow.’

Bob Marley

Unfortunately Marley’s first nominations came almost 20 years after his death for the Best Long Form Music Video and Best Music Film categories. But in 2001 the ‘Sun Is Shining’ singer became a Grammy Lifetime Achievement recipient.

Nicki Minaj

Despite earning 10 Grammy nominations throughout her career in categories such as Best Rap Album, Best Rap Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best New Artist, and more, the queen of rap has yet to take home an award.

Tupac Shakur

Although he is known as one of the best rappers of all time, and earned six nominations for categories such as Best Rap Album, Best Rap Solo Performance, Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group, and more, Tupac never won a Grammy Award in his career.
