Ryan Reynolds shares Blake Lively update after welcoming fourth baby

‘Deadpool’ actor Ryan Reynolds has shared that his wife, ‘Gossip Girl’ alum Blake Lively, and their brand new baby are both doing well. The whole family is having a great time, albeit slightly sleep-deprived and chaotic.

Reynolds and Lively’s latest addition to the family, of whom the name and sex has yet to be released, joins three older children the couple already share, including eight-year-old James, and his sisters, Inez, who is six, and three-year-old Betty.

In a Power Lunch Monday interview with CNBC hosts Tyler Mathisen and Kelly Evans, the actor said he and Lively are both excited, and that things are crazy in a good way around the house.

“We’re very excited,” Reynolds said. “Look, we wouldn’t do this four times if we didn’t love it.”

“Everybody’s doing great. Everybody’s actually doing fantastic,” Reynolds added. “I think if we hadn’t figured it out by now, I think we’d be in deep, deep trouble.”

The 46-year-old conveyed the atmosphere at home by laughingly comparing it to a zoo.

“It’s a zoo over here,” he laughed, gesturing at what looks to be a pristine kitchen counter. “This is my office here and to be honest I’ll probably spend the rest of my life in here!”

The low-key birth announcement

Reynolds said they still haven’t made an official baby announcement, and that is why fans have not been privy to the sex of the baby yet.

“I ain’t telling,” Reynolds exclaimed when asked. “This ain’t a birth announcement!”

The couple announced, without really announcing, the arrival of their fourth child in a subtle Super Bowl 57 Instagram post on Sunday February 12.

In the photo, the couple and Reynolds’ mother are at home in sweatpants with some delicious-looking Super Bowl food — and a very not-pregnant Lively smiling into the camera.

“Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023. been busy,” the 35-year-old actress wrote in the caption.
