The Taylor Swift phenomenon has burst onto the world stage as a result of her tour, The Eras Tour, which kicked off on March 17 in Arizona and is scheduled to end on December 8 in Vancouver. This round of concerts, which is breaking all kinds of records, will also stop in Europe, with her new album, ‘The Tortured Poets’ Department’, set to feature in the setlist.

Many fans of the artist have been lucky enough to experience the spectacle for themselves. Over the last few weeks, social networks have been flooded with videos in which certain fans have, in detail, described their experience as a Swiftie. Some of these Taylor-loving publications have even gone viral because of the tips fans have shared to face the three-hour-long show.

“I don’t want to miss any Taylor Swift songs”

Without a doubt, the best of them all came when a social media user described how she is set to wear adult diapers as not to miss a single minute of the concert. Getting the urge to go to the bathroom would undoubtedly involve long lines as a result.

“I bought adult diapers because I don’t want to miss any Taylor Swift songs, even though I’m really grossed out by the idea that I’m going to pee myself. I’ll take it with me,” says one user who will enjoy the concert at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Another sector of the fanbase have come out and criticised this ‘advice’ given the irritation that peeing on oneself can cause in the intimate area. “If I can hold it on a flight, I can hold it for a Taylor Swift concert,” noted another user.

Swift took a short break from her ‘Eras Tour’ after she finished the US leg of the worldwide trip. She resumed action in Sweden, where she played before travelling to France. Now, she will perform in Lisbon for two nights (24, 25 May) before playing a pair of concerts in Madrid (29, 30 May) at Real Madrid’s Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.

From there she will continue to tour the continent, performing in cities such as London, Warsaw, Hamburg, Milan and Amsterdam, before she flies back to the North American continent to finish up in Canada.
