Eight androids completed thousands of tasks on a real production line over six consecutive days under the supervision of human workers.

Green light for the first ‘mini-army’ of Chinese humanoid robots replacing humans: 64 consecutive hours and a 99% success rate
China has taken another step forward in industrial robotics with a demonstration showcasing just how capable humanoid robots have become in a real manufacturing environment. For six consecutive days, a group of androids operated continuously in a tablet manufacturing facility, completing tens of thousands of tasks while maintaining an accuracy rate of nearly 100%.
Agibot conducted the demonstration at a Longcheer Technology manufacturing plant, where eight G2 humanoid robots worked for more than 64 cumulative hours on an active production line. During that time, they assisted in the assembly and inspection of 17,625 tablets and completed 64,828 manufacturing-related tasks, achieving a reported success rate of 99.99%, according to the company.
Unlike previous demonstrations conducted in laboratory settings, the robots worked alongside employees and existing factory equipment while normal production continued uninterrupted. Their responsibilities included inspecting devices, sorting defective units, transporting materials, and performing a variety of other manufacturing operations across multiple stages of the production process. They also adapted to changing conditions in real time.
Humanoid robots and human workers can successfully share the factory floor
The entire six-day demonstration was livestreamed to provide a transparent look at the robots’ real-world performance. According to Yao Maoqing, president of Agibot’s Embodied AI division, the goal was to demonstrate how these machines can be integrated into real industrial environments while highlighting the challenges involved in deploying them at scale.
Following the successful trial, the company also announced another milestone: the production of its 15,000th robot, which was also delivered to Longcheer Technology. Agibot says it has significantly expanded its manufacturing capacity over the past year, shortening the time required to scale production while reinforcing its commitment to deploying humanoid robots as industrial assistants.
Even so, despite the impressive results, the demonstration does not suggest that humanoid robots are about to replace human workers. Instead, projects like this are designed to evaluate how effectively these machines can take over repetitive or support-oriented tasks in manufacturing facilities as automation continues to play an increasingly important role in the industry.
