After the proclamation of Charles III as King of England, his young son has changed his attitude and his desire to get away from the Royal Family. Proof of this has been a request for Netflix to modify the documentary in which they participated and recounted their experience.

According to Page Six, “The couple allegedly wants to cut chunks from the doc — which they have been filming for more than a year now — but Netflix chiefs are standing by the Sussexes’ filmmakers who want to keep the content.”

After the death of Elizabeth II, Harry’s grandmother, it seems that they want to seek to “minimize” much of what they have said about King Charles III, the Queen Consort and the Princes of Wales, since it is believed that the project would include “a number of truth bombs” about the family.

Harry’s entourage declared when his father’s accession to the throne took place, that they were going to do everything possible to support Charles III, the new monarch, wanting to soften what they said about Queen Elizabeth II as well of his father when he was still Heir to the Throne.

The new titles

The Sussexes' children Archie, 3, and Lilibet Diana, 1, now have the right to be called prince and princess, but the decision rests with their grandfather, the King, who takes titles of nobility very seriously.

Furthermore, it is a rule established by King George V in 1917, “…the grandchildren of the sons of any such sovereign in the direct male line (save only the eldest living son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales) shall have and enjoy in all occasions the style and title enjoyed by the children of dukes of these our realms,” reports Express.

For now, they remain Mr Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor in the official line of succession.

Sources close to Buckingham Palace have said that Charles of England will only make this decision once he has seen what Harry has written in his memoirs, as well as what is included in the Netflix show, while sources of the production company believe that they can back out of the project if they modify everything they want, an almost personal project of Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos.
