Walmart breakfast sausage patties that taste just like McDonald’s iconic breakfast item
If you’re craving for a McDonald’s sausage patty and wish to prepare one for breakfast at home, a former chef at the chain says Walmart is your best bet.
A former McDonald’s corporate chef has revealed where fans of the fast food chain’s popular breakfast sausage can buy the closest thing to their favorite patty on TikTok.
Chef Mike Haracz has declared that based on his research, the restaurant’s breakfast staple can be replicated if you buy Walmart’s great value pork breakfast sausage patties.
Haracz issued a disclaimer, probably to assure that he was not revealing corporate secrets, that he came to his conclusions by looking at the McDonald’s website and looked the sausage patty’s nutritional information and ingredients statements.
He said he then looked at similar products and checked out their information as well, and concluded that the world’s biggest retailer was offering the product that was most similar to that of the world’s largest fast food chain.

Walmart’s patty ‘pretty darn close’ to McDonald’s breakfast sausage
“The ingredients statements are very close,” said the chef, who goes by the TikTok handle @chefmikeharacz. He named pork, water, salt, natural flavors, and sweetener as some the ingredients. He did mention that Walmart’s version has some aspects that are different from those of McDonald’s.
“The Great Value version has a little bit more fat in it, as well as a different set of preservatives in it,” he noted.
However, he said that when he cooked and tasted it, it was very close to the McDonald’s breakfast sausage patty.

Haracz’s sausage patty video has 1.4 million views as of this writing. The chef’s TikTok account talks a lot about products that are similar to those available at the fast food chain. His video on how to copy the Big Mac sauce has garnered 3.6 million views.
