Who is Tom Homan, the border czar Trump is sending to Minnesota?

President Donald Trump has announced that Tom Homan, his administration’s “border czar,” will be deployed to Minnesota as federal immigration enforcement faces intense scrutiny and growing unrest following the murders of Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti by federal agents.

The killings of legal citizens by immigration agents in Minneapolis have prompted protests and political clashes across the country, with Trump now turning to Homan for results.

Homan, a veteran law enforcement official, will oversee federal immigration operations and coordinate responses to the shocking recent events.

In a Truth Social post, Trump wrote: “I am sending Tom Homan to Minnesota tonight. He has not been involved in that area, but knows and likes many of the people there. Tom is tough but fair, and will report directly to me.”

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt (I know, I’m sorry) said Homan will “be managing ICE Operations on the ground in Minnesota to continue arresting the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens.”

In addition, Tom will coordinate with those leading investigations into the massive, widespread fraud that has resulted in billions of taxpayer dollars being stolen from law-abiding citizens in Minnesota.”
