Obi-Wan Kenobi’s home planet was born from a joke by George Lucas
The Jedi Master’s origins trace back to an improvised response that became official Star Wars lore.

Like all Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi was taken in by the Jedi Order as a young child, trained by Yoda and later Qui-Gon Jinn. While he spent most of his life at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, his home planet is officially known as Stewjon.
The name originated from a joke made by George Lucas during Star Wars Celebration V. When comedian Jon Stewart asked Lucas where Obi-Wan was born, Lucas playfully responded with “Stewjon,” blending Stewart’s name into the galaxy far, far away. The audience burst into laughter, and the name unexpectedly became canon.

Obi-Wan Kenobi’s lost brother
Obi-Wan barely remembers his life before the Jedi Order, having been taken in at a very young age. However, in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, he reveals to Leia Organa that he has a brother, though his name remains unknown.
Could future Star Wars stories explore Obi-Wan’s lost sibling? His history is still being written, leaving room for new revelations.
Will Ewan McGregor return as Obi-Wan?
Rumors suggest Ewan McGregor may reprise his role in Season 2 of Star Wars: Ahsoka. While nothing is confirmed, Hayden Christensen is officially set to return as Anakin Skywalker.
McGregor has expressed his desire to play Obi-Wan again, so fans may yet see the Jedi Master return.
