The New York Yankees remain atop the AL East standings with a 43–31 record, closely followed by the Tampa Bay Rays (41–33), Toronto Blue Jays (40–34), Boston Red Sox (39–37), and Baltimore Orioles (31–42).

Despite leading their division, alarm bells are ringing after the Yankees dropped six of their last seven games. In a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox and a four-game series against the Los Angeles Angels, they managed to win only the final game.

In response to the slump, Yankees captain Aaron Judge spoke candidly about the team’s poor form:

That’s baseball. We know what we’re committed to... You can’t give up, you can’t have regrets. Just show up the next day and be ready to play,” Judge said.

Judge’s batting average has dipped by 26 points during the six-game losing streak, with just two hits in his recent at-bats. “I think we got asked the same questions last June when we were having a tough time,” he added.
