Update:

The 2025 NBA All-Star game is almost upon us. A huge fixture in the season’s list of fantastic match-ups, we’re set to see the top names in the NBA go head-to-head in a new way of presenting the tournament.

For the first time, the NBA All-Star Game will include a mini-tournament featuring four teams and three games. In the semifinals, two teams will compete in Game 1, while the other two face off in Game 2. The winners of these games will advance to the championship matchup in Game 3.

Each game will be won by the first team to score 40 points or more.

Is there prize money for the NBA All-Star game?

Of course there is! The four teams in the NBA All-Star Game will compete to get their hands on a $1.8 million prize pool.

Players on the tournament-winning team will each earn $125,000, while those on the second-place team will receive $50,000 each. Players on the third- and fourth-place teams will each be awarded $25,000.
