The Los Angeles Lakers are set to take on the New Orleans Pelicans in their play-in game on Tuesday, April 16, with tip-off at 7.30 p.m. ET / 4.30 p.m. PT at the New Orleans Arena.

The winner will be the No. 7 seed and take on the defending champion Denver Nuggets in NBA Playoffs first round. If the Laker lose, however, they will host the winner of the game between the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings for the chance to face the top seed in the West, the Oklahoma City Thunder.
As far as the form between the two sides goes, it was the Lakers who won against the New Orleans Pelicans just last week, beating them by a score of 124-108, piling on the pressure given the game will still be fresh in the mind.
