Update:

With the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend fast approaching, the league has unveiled the roster for the annual Rising Stars showcase, putting the spotlight on the sport’s brightest young talents.

Topping the list is, unsurprisingly, Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg, the No. 1 overall pick in last summer’s draft and one of the most exciting prospects in the league this season.

Flagg, just 19 years old, has already emerged as a key fixture in the the Mavericks’ rotation, averaging 18.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game while making history with some eye-catching performances.

The Rising Stars event, scheduled for February 13 at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT) at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, will again adopt a mini-tournament format. Four teams of seven players will compete: three teams comprised of NBA rookies and second-year players and a fourth made up of standout talents from the NBA G League.

The initial games will go to 40 points, with the championship decided at 25. Honorary coaches for the NBA squads include Hall of Famers Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady, while former NBA player Austin Rivers will lead the G League team.
