Giannis set to miss Denver clash through injury, how long will the Bucks star be sidelined for?
Milwaukee are looking to cement their playoff place as they travel to Denver without Greek star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Milwaukee Bucks travel to Denver to face Denver Nuggets on Wednesday and do so without Greek international star Giannis Antetokounmpo. Injury has hampered the 30-year-old’s season but he has managed to play in all 18 games since the All-Star break but missed 12 before the break due to right knee and left calf injuries.

A sprained left foot sees Giannis stay behind in Milwaukee with his injury a further setback for the Bucks who found out earlier on Tuesday that guard Damian Lillard will be sidelined indefinitely due to deep vein thrombosis (blood clots) in his right calf.

A win is key in Denver for the Bucks as they look to secure fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings with the Detroit Pistons snapping at their heels in fifth place.
Giannis return?
Antetokounmpo played 37 minutes Monday night in Milwaukee’s 108-106 loss to the Suns in Phoenix. He scored 31 points and delivered 10 rebounds.
The Bucks offered no additional information relating to Giannis’ left foot sprain and his return to the court will depend on the severity of the injury. Generally a mild sprain would sideline a player for up to one or two weeks and it’s expected that the team will offer more concrete details relating to the 30-year-old’s ailment.
