The NBA will travel to Mexico for the first time since 2019, with the Miami Heat taking on the San Antonio Spurs at Arena Ciudad de Mexico on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 4 p.m. local time, which is 5 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT.
It will be the NBA’s 31st game in the country, the last one also taking place in Mexico City when the Spurs beat the Phoenix Suns.
This is the second time for Miami to play in the city, having previously prevailed over the Brooklyn Nets in their 2012 matchup.
How to watch Heat vs. Spurs in Mexico City
Mexican fans will be treated to performances by a number of NBA star players. On the Heat side they will be counting on Kyle Lowry, Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro and Serbian star Nikola Jovic.
But the Spurs are not far behind in terms of brilliant talent, as their squad includes standouts such as Keldon Johnson and Jeremy Sochan.

Although the numbers have not been excellent for the San Antonio team this season, Mexico could be a turning point for them, just as it could be for Miami, who is currently outside the playoff zone.
This will be the second time for the two teams to meet this regular season. They just faced off last week in Miami, where the Spurs prevailed, 115-111.
