The Los Angeles could be without both LeBron and Bronny James for their game against the Golden State Warriors as the father-son pair have their own personal concerns in the hours counting down to the action.

Bronny, LeBron’s son, will not feature for the 17-time champions as he will instead be participating in the G-League to gain competitive minutes and experience. The youngster has had a high-profile career so far, despite having next to nothing in terms of professional highlights. Despite this, expectation is high for the player who clearly has a lot to live up to.

Bronny recently featured in the G-League, leading the South Bay Lakers to a 122-110 win over the Rip City Remix in El Segundo.

Bronny finally shines in the G-League

The game was a standout moment for him so far, with a career-high 31 points and recorded two rebounds, three assists and two steals a personal best performance at this level. He shot 10-of-22 from the field and 5-of-11 from deep. “I am having fun,” Bronny James remarked at full-time. “Any time I’m playing basketball, any time I’m out here breathing, any time I’m out here walking, I’m having fun. I’m grateful for everything.”

Daddy James, for his part, made sure to tune into his son’s interview and quickly made clear his support online: “GRATEFUL OF YOU KID!!” LeBron wrote.

LeBron, for his part, is a feature on the official injury list submitted by the Lakers to the NBA ahead of the huge fixture, one of the most-watched in the entire season, with the two giant forces going head to head always a draw for the casual fan and the neutral.

At the time of writing, he is listed at ‘probable’ for the game with the recurring story of his left foot injury management still on the minds of the medical staff. James Sr has been fighting against his body over the past few games yet - despite being able to feature and guide his side to two consecutive wins - including a dramatic victory over the Celtics, continues to be monitored closely.
