After their disappointing overtime loss in the first game against the Boston Celtics, the Indiana Pacers will enter tonight’s matchup motivated to show that their stumble was just a bunch of unfortunate circumstances and tactical errors, above all by their coach Rick Carlisle, who took the blame for the loss, especially for his decisions made in the last seconds of regular game time.

Pacers injury report

The Indiana Pacers have announced their roster before the second Eastern Conference Final game 2, with shooting guard Bennedict Mathurin having been ruled out for the remainder of the season. Mathurin, who has been a key contributor to the team, sustained a shoulder injury that will sideline him for the foreseeable future. His last game was on the 5th of March against the Dallas Mavericks

The Canada-born Mathurin has been a consistent performer this season, averaging 14.5 points per game (PPG), 4.0 rebounds per game (RPG), and 2.0 assists per game (APG). His absence will undoubtedly was and will be felt as the Pacers look to adjust their lineup and strategy moving forward.
