Will Ace Bailey play in the Salt Lake City NBA Summer League with the Jazz?
Young superstar Ace Bailey has made his move to the NBA after making waves in the lower levels.

The Utah Jazz selected Ace Bailey 5th overall in the 2025 NBA Draft, with the youngster making the leap to pro basketball from Rutgers University.
Bailey made waves during his lone college season in 2024–25. He averaged 17.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game while playing over 33 minutes a game.
As for whether he’ll play in the Summer League, it’s likely that we’ll see him at some point on the court for his new side, although this is speculation that hasn’t been confirmed by his coach.

‘We love to compete. We’ve got high ceilings’
“It’s been great,” Bailey said via Yahoo after Wednesday’s practice with the Jazz. “I’ve learned from the vets, learning a lot of new stuff. I’ve got a lot of stuff to learn, a lot.”
“Having those two come back, just showing me the way, that means a lot. Because they taking the time out of their summer just to be with me. From being in the right spots, to just being me, just get comfortable. I mean, take your shot, and just be Ace. Don’t try to fit in and just be who you are,” he added.
On the vibes of the team, Bailey admitted that “there’s great energy, and it matches mine”, adding “We love to compete. We’ve got high ceilings. We all play hard. We laugh. I mean, but we still compete at the end of the day.”
“The fan base has been there,” Bailey said of the travelling fans, “I had to get a phone, so I went to the Apple Store. I just felt the love as soon as I walked through the door. ‘Ace! You see somewhere to eat? Ace! Ace!’ It’s awesome that I got that type of fan base with the Utah Jazz. So I’m just blessed to be in that position.”
