LeBron James has said publicly that he would want his son, who is presently projected to be selected in the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft, to play with him during his last season in the NBA

With attention from Memphis, Ohio State, USC, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, and Oregon, Bronny, a senior at Sierra Canyon High School in Los Angeles, may choose his university choice soon.

The NBL is competing with a number of other leagues for LeBron James’s oldest son’s services. With the next season, Bronny is considering playing for both G League Ignite and Overtime Elite on the professional level.

However, the NBL has pulled off a basketball coup before, signing current Charlotte Hornets player LaMelo Ball, and it might be a dark horse option in signing Bronny James.

What about a Bronny James NBL move?

The NBL’s chances of signing 18-year-old sensation Bronny James are slim, but it hasn’t stopped the Australian league from trying its hardest.

NBL owner Larry Kestelman told NewsCorp on Tuesday that it would be difficult to sign the teenager, but the league was committed to doing all their power to get him.

Which NBL team would Bronny James play for?

If Bronny James were to join the NBL through the NextStars program, he would not be signing with a specific club but instead with the league itself, placing him on a roster.

LaMelo Ball, formerly of the Illawarra Hawks, RJ Hampton, previously with the New Zealand Breakers, and Josh Giddey, former members of the Adelaide 36ers, are just a few of the famous players who have emerged via the NextStars pipeline.
