When do LA Rams start 2025 training camp?

After a low-key June and a working holiday in Maui, star man Matthew Stafford will report to Rams training camp on July 22, alongside rookies and veterans, as the LA team settles into Loyola Marymount University for its second straight summer at the Westchester campus.

But this isn’t just any camp for the 36-year-old quarterback. After a healthy but uneven 2024, and with Cooper Kupp now gone, Stafford enters a critical season – possibly his last chance to remind the league he’s more than just another decent thrower.

CBS Sports’ Jared Dubin recently called Stafford “the most underrated quarterback in the NFL,” citing strong advanced metrics in games where Puka Nacua was healthy, including an EPA per dropback that matched Jayden Daniels’ top-10 rate.

Only two teams reporting later than LA – the Falcons and Steelers – this will be a compressed ramp-up before preseason gets going in early August.

The Rams aren’t staggering arrivals, unlike some franchises giving rookies a head start, so everyone checks in on July 22, and from then on, expect the usual drama: position battles, injury updates, and relentless speculation about Stafford’s long-term role.

They won it all in 2021 and this year the star QB has a revamped cast: Davante Adams joins Nacua and running back Kyren Williams, giving him what some are calling one of the league’s most complete supporting trios. They expect more than mediocrity, and camp is where that begins.
