Bills LB Von Miller disses Derrick Henry: “He’s tougher in the weight room than on the football field”
The Buffalo Bills take on the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL playoffs this weekend, the marquee matchup of the Divisional round.

Running back Derrick Henry has been one of the undoubted stars for the Baltimore Ravens this year, dovetailing perfectly with dynamic quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Henry only joined the Ravens last summer but has already built a telepathic on-field relationship with Jackson, who finds himself in contention for another MVP award. After a 186-yard game against the Steelers last weekend, Henry moved into the Top 10 for postseason rushing yards.
He is now just 82 yards short of reaching 1,000 postseason rushing yards and he could become only the seventh player in NFL history to hit that milestone when they take on the Buffalo Bills this weekend. In his way will be Bills linebacker Von Miller, a two-time Super Bowl champion and eight-time Pro Bowlers.
Speaking ahead of the game, Miller said: “Derrick Henry and I are exactly the same size, so that’s... as far as height and weight. I have a lot of respect for Derrick Henry. We work out together in Dallas in the off-season.”
However Miller added that he’s not too concerned about facing Henry in a postseason game for the first time. He revealed that keeping up with the Ravens linebacker in the gym may actually be more difficult that keeping him quiet on the field.
Miller said: “Last time we played them, you know, they broke an 80-yarder, 90-yard on their very first possession. That’s why you go out there and play the game. You know, we got them home this time. I feel like it’s tougher in the weight room, than on the football field, to keep up with him.”
The Bills and the Ravens are the No. 2 and No 3 seeds in the AFC and their meeting is widely considered to be the best game of an exciting Divisional round. The two teams go head-to-head on Sunday, January 19 at Highmark Stadium, with kick-off set for 6:30pm ET.
