Chiefs’ WR Rashee Rice admits he was worried about one thing this offseason: “I was real concerned”
The Kansas City Chiefs Wide Receiver spoke about a myriad of topics, including his worries for the offseason.

The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off the back of a heartbreaking season finale which saw them lose the Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles, depriving them of what would have been an historic three-peat.
The Kansas City Chiefs closed out the 2024 campaign with an outstanding 15–2 regular-season record, securing their ninth straight AFC West title and earning the AFC’s top seed.
A bright spot early on was wide receiver Rashee Rice, who exploded out of the gate—racking up 7 catches for 103 yards in Week 1, 5 for 75 and a TD in Week 2, and a massive 12 receptions, 110 yards, 1 TD in Week 3.
He managed a total of 24 receptions, 288 yards, and 2 touchdowns before suffering a season-ending LCL injury in Week 4. Despite this setback, Rice has remained positive in the offseason, and sees the Chiefs’ roster as a hugely talented group of players.

‘We’re going to be explosive this year; we know it’s gonna be a show’
Speaking on Saturday during a youth football camp, via KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson, Rice said:
“We got a lot of guys. We are deep in depth. Wide receiver group, we’re going to be explosive this year. We’re just excited to put on a show to be honest. We know it’s gonna be a show. Only thing in the way right now is time, so we’re just waiting patiently.”
On his recovery, Rice explained that “it’s a hard process”, adding “if you love the game enough, it’s nothing that can really take you away or discourage you that you can’t get the job done.”
Rice also spoke about Kelce’s potential retirement, admitting that he was “real concerned” about the prospect of the tight end hanging up his boots. “I ain’t gonna lie. That’s Trav.”

“Me getting hurt last year was like kind of a wake-up call. I really wanted him to come back. [You] kind of realise the guys that you get to play with once it’s all over”, he concluded.
