Halftime Show Super Bowl 2023 live reactions: is Rihanna pregnant
Halftime show Super Bowl: Rihanna performance & reactions
A$AP Rocky and Rihanna's relationship timeline
Watching ASAP Rocky looking in love as he watched Rihanna take on the stage from the field gave us all the feels.
It also made us want to a look at their relationship timeline, especially after knowing there is possibly, certainly, a second baby on the way.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were known to have a strong friendship for quite some time until Rihanna showed up with a baby bump in New York City in January, 2022, with Rocky by her side.
Shortly after, in May 2022, Rocky confirmed his relationship with the fashion icon in an interview where he said the singer was his “lady” and the “love of my life.”
The “Angels” rapper and the fashion icon are parents to a nine-month-old child, and are believed to be expecting their second one.
RiRi and Rocky have "a few names in mind" for their new arrival
Rihanna will be welcoming a new addition to the family and according to her father Ronald Fenty, the couple have a few names they are considering for their second child although it's not up to him to disclose such information.
Rihanna's father didn't have tickets for the Super Bowl but was planning on being at the after-show party with a couple of friends. When asked about his daughter and being a grandfather, Fenty said, “Everybody says [the baby] looks like me, but you know, babies change, faces change. He [resembles] a lot of Rihanna and Rocky together".
He added that Rihanna already has a “few names” in mind for her second baby, which is believed to be another boy, but laughed, saying that he could say no more: “She’ll have my head if I tell you!”
Justina steals the show
Sign language interpreter Justina Miles was one of the surprise big hits of Super Bowl LVII. She appeared twice at the event - during Sheryl Lee Ralph’s performance of Lift Every Voice and Sing in the pre-game build-up, then later, interpreting Rihanna's halftime show, clearly having the time of her life in a display that went viral.
Justina, a 20-year-old from Philadelphia, is hard of hearing while her mother is deaf. She is the first female deaf woman to provide ASL interpretation during the Super Bowl Halftime Show. "I value the opportunity to make it possible for all deaf people to enjoy these songs, and not have them miss out on the full Super Bowl experience," she told CNBC.
"Impeccable and fierce!" Natti Natasha was impressed with how Rihanna "embraced pregnancy", proud to show off her baby bump during the Super Bowl halftime show.
"When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world — you can do anything. And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was, there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. It’s important for my son to see that".
Rihanna dazzles with sensational 2023 Super Bowl Halftime show performance
While Rihanna slayed with her independant, fully-clothed halftime performance at the Super Bowl, she also brought an unexpected surprise guest on the State Farm Stadium stage. Even though nothing was officially announced, it was more than obvious that the star was revealing her tummy in a way as to quietly, and hugely announce the news.
Read more on that here.

Well, despite our hopes of seeing Drake and Jay Z up on stage with queen Ri, the long-awaited performance did us right. What is Fenty beauty about?
After a subtle fenty beauty promo at the halftime show, let's get to know a little more about Rihanna's beauty brand:
´Before she was BadGalRiRi: music, fashion and beauty icon, Robyn Rihanna Fenty was a little girl in Barbados transfixed by her mother’s lipstick. The first time she experienced makeup for herself, she never looked back. Makeup became her weapon of choice for self-expression—a way to radiate her ever-changing mood—and it powered a fearless take on beauty that helped her...´
This is the first thing you see on Rihanna's beauty website, and it tells you all about the artist's passion for ¨playing around¨ with what makes one comfortable, whether that be makeup, music, lingerie or... well... babies.
Rihanna reactions
Fenty Bowl!!
That's what a lot of people are agreeing on at the moment. The Barbadian singer just owned up the stage in a calming manner, with her products, her surprise guest and her beautiful voice making a bigger buzz than bringing an army of singers along by her side.
If you didn't get that, that`s Fenty for her beauty brand, and Bowl for Super Bowl.
That's Fenty Bowl for you, everyone
Wednesday inspired?
You know what I mean!!
First of all, we LOVED this little yet exciting piece of choreo queen Riri performed at the halftime show. Second, it totallly gave us ´Wednesday´ vibes from the series.
Fenty Beauty represented at Super Bowl 2023
I literally can't believe she did that, but my God the woman is a billionaire and a genius visionary.
Meanwhile, another touchdown for the Chiefs! It's 24-21 for the Eagles so far!
I represent, I Rhiturn, I run this town
While there are so many conversations surrounding the halftime performance and Rihanna's surprising no-guest show, I, personally, found her spectacle extremely empowering. The woman literally said I'm up here singing my heart out to all you fans, enjoying my time on stage, only nine months after becoming a mother, and all while possibly expecting another baby.
While there might be a possibility we are wrong, we really don't think that's the case. And we love her for bringing her unexpected surprise guest
We are back to football, but we will keep getting you reactions on the halftime show.
Stay with us for all the gossip, and with our own Dane & Jen for all the football action.
The songs Rihanna sang
Rihanna began her Super Bowl LVII half-time show with “Bitch Better Have My Money”.
A medley of her greatest successes then featured renditions of “Where Have You Been”, “Only Girl in the World”, “We Found Love”, “Rude Boy”, “Work”, “Wild Wild”, “Blow it Up”, “All of the Lights”, “Run this Town”, and “Umbrella”.
She concluded with Diamonds, in a very relaxed manner with a smile that was as genuine as could come
Back to the action!
After that stunning performance, the Super Bowl action is back, with the Eagles leading the Chiefs 24-14. Follow the Super Bowl live with Dane and Jennifer.
According to the internet there's no doubt: Rihanna is pregnant
A lot of people are very convinced this was not just the Super Bowl halftime show but also Rihanna's pregnancy announcement.
Surprising guest star in halftime show
Well, this is it for the halftime show.
Rihanna definitely had a great time singing, walking confidently, and even showing off one of her Fenty Beauty products. Her voice was fire, and something about her calmness gave the performance a different feel than all the other ones before.
But it's true there is so much speculation about her being pregnant, owning up that stage like a new mother.
Here's the full set list Rihanna rocked us with.
PREGGO?!
Riri is making us all shine bright like diamonds. But even better, right when she sang the piece ¨when you hold me¨ she grabbed her tummy, possibly giving us a clue that she's expecting another baby...?
The white dancers have tripled and their performance is epic alongside the artist, who just sang one of her biggest hits, umbrella
and she's now running this town!
Even though we don't see anything with major surprises, except maybe a little bump that has many wondering, she is defintely having a good time
FENTY BEAUTY is represented! Rihanna totally took out a foundation from her beauty brand before the start of ´Áll of the lights´
All she sees is dollar signs... and now Riri is giving us some major dance moves
And now she's blowing it up after a fearless walk down the stage that matches the woman she is
There are no surprises so far, but we are at the ´wild thoughts´ phase of the halftime show
She Workin it, my readers!
Rude boy is next with Riri showing off her unapologetic voice and some butt action
The dancers in white are totally a vibe though
WE FOUND LOVE, and so did the NFL
And now, everyone's favorite, DIMAONDS is on, and Riri's voice is shining as bright as her Fenty beauty concealer on
Switching over to her second hit, ´Where have you been,´ Queen Riri and her funky eskimos are now the only girls in the world
She's here!! Starting with Bitch better have my money, looking fire as ever with her red costume!
Remember last year's halftime show when a bunch of kings and queens of hip hop got together and buzzed Los Angeles at Sofi Stadium?
We think this one will hype even louder!
Huge sound stage boxes with massive Rihanna labels on them pouring through the stadium... this is gonna be loud!
Any minute now, it's going to be 13 minutes for Rihanna, 30 minutes in total for halftime.

Halftime is here
We are ready for the halftime show as the Eagles lead the game 24-14 over the Chiefs.
Queen Riri is almost among us and we cannot wait.
Don't go anywhere!
Fans and stars awaiting halftime
Ok friends, the wait is almost over and Rihanna is about to steal the show at State Farm Stadium with over 70,000 fans awaiting the buzz in Arizona and a global audience of hundreds of millions.
Among the fans are Philadelphia native and comedian Kevin Hart, who's rooting for the Eagles and Bradley Cooper, who's been outspoken about his love of the Eagles for many years now.
Do players ever sneak peek during the halftime show?
Have you ever wondered if participating players at the Super Bowl ever watch the halftime show?
I don't know if any of you reading this have the answer for it, but the consensus in our journalism room is:
¨definitely not.¨
But if you think about it, some players, like kickers and others on the team, might actually not be taking part in every conversation the team has before returning back to the field. And I, personally, believe some of them totally sneak out to take a peak at the halftime show, especially if the main act is someone they badly want to watch. That, of course, doesn't take away the fact that I, as an artistic swimming coach myself, believe it is so not the right thing to do in a team sport.
I'm so intrigued to know what our readers' thoughts are. Write us? Comment below?
Halftime is ALL about Rihanna, of course, but there are a fair few major Super Bowl commercials lined up too. Here are some of the big names involved in this year's big ads.
Team ¨Rhiturn¨
As we get closer and closer to the halftime performance, here's a little reminder of how your favorite badgirlriri does her thing up on stage. Who is not team Riri tonight?!!
The fastest ever touchdown
As we're watching Jalen Hurts running in the opening touchdown for the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII in just 4 minutes 51 seconds, we can't help but wonder how quick was the quickest Super Bowl touchdown ever?
Our Calum Roche has the answer here.
How much is Rihanna making for the halftime show performance?
I'm currently sitting in a room full of journalists and one of the most-asked questions tonight are how much the billionaire, Rihanna, will be making for tonight's halftime show performance. And we're here to answer that for you too, of course.
Just click the link below:
How much will Rihanna be paid for the Super Bowl 2023 halftime show?
Butker, the butt kicker, missed field goal
I know we're back to talking about the game, but I promise it's music-related.
Even though the Chiefs´ Butt kicker missed the 42-yard field goal, we learned something about him today that makes up for it. The 27-year-old from Georgia has a favorite instrument, and it's the tuba.
Forgive him yet?
Why Taylor Swift rejected performing at halftime show
On another note, Queen Rihanna isn't the only one who has rejected a halftime show performance.
Taylor Swift was rumored to be performing at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show until reports surfaced that the artist turned down the invite to focus on rerecording all six of her first six albums after Scooter Braun sold the rights to her masters in 2020.
What becoming a mother is about for Rihanna
They say that being a mother really changes something in a woman.
And for Rihanna, that is exactly the case.
The 34-year-old singer from Barbados was asked before to perform at the halftime show in the Super Bowl, and she did not hesitate to say no in 2019.
This year, however, after a seven-year hiatus from making music and touring and five years since her last performance, Rihanna said becoming a mother made her feel even stronger and made her want to do something big and meaningful, especially to show that representation to her child with ASAP Rocky.
Rihanna also said that it's all about representation for her.
“That’s a big part of why this is important for me to do this show: representation,” she said. “Representing for immigrants. Representing for Black women everywhere. That’s key for people to see the possibilities. It’s a long way from home, right? It’s a beautiful journey that I’m on. I could have never guessed that I would have made it here, so it’s a celebration of that. I’m really excited to have Barbados on the Super Bowl stage.”
A billionaire rocking the Super Bowl stage?
Okay guys, we want to get our focus back to the halftime show, because... well... we're too excited.
Did you know that Rihanna isn't just an international artist with versatile talent and fearless attitude, but she is also one of the world’s few self-made female billionaires? The Barbadian singer has racked up a net worth of $1.4 billion, making her the richest musician in the world and the second richest female entertainer after Oprah Winfrey.
Rihanna’s early success showed how nimbly she rides the waves of pop’s sonic trends and how she perfectly fits into the hiphop world.
Her lingerie brand Savage X Fenty and makeup brand Fenty Beauty have only been succeeding over the years, especially since she switched her focus from being on the international stage in 2016 to growing her companies. She really is savage.
You can read more on that here.
Eagles, Chiefs to follow new overtime rules
We wanted to remind all our lovely readers of the new overtime rules change that the Eagles and Chiefs will be following tonight:
Under the new rules, if a team scores a touchdown in those circumstances, they will line up to kick an extra point or a two-point conversion. The opposing team will then be guaranteed a possession and will also have the opportunity to score a touchdown and either match or better the first team’s points tally (the second team can try for a two-point conversion if the first team kicked just one extra point). If the teams remain level after their touchdowns, sudden-death overtime will then be played.

The Chiefs won the toss and differed. The Eagles will get the ball first just now! It's showtime everyone!
How long did Stapleton take to sing the national anthem?
We're definitely still touched by Chris Stapleton´s performance, and for all those awaiting the exact time that he spent on the anthem, it took him 2 minutes and 1 second.
Have they ever not played the national anthem at the Super Bowl?
The U.S. national anthem ("The Star-Spangled Banner") has been performed at all but one Super Bowl since its first year in 1967; Vikki Carr sang "America the Beautiful" in place of the anthem at Super Bowl XI in 1977.
Time for the coin toss
If you, like me, ever wondered why a team may defer after winning the coin toss, our Calum Roche explains...
The honorary captains are being announced at the Super Bowl 57 as they prepare for the coin toss
Did you know?
The customary flyovers at NFL Super Bowls try to time their appearance over State Farm Stadium as perfectly as possible to coincide with the final notes of the national anthem.
Let's watch these ladies fly!
And now, the all-female flight crew are conducting the four aircraft formation flyover during the national anthem at the opening of Super Bowl LVII in honor of the 50th anniversary of women flying in the U.S. Navy.
Next in line: Chris Stapleton
Eight-time Grammy award winner, Chris Stapleton, is singing: The Stars And Stripes Forever, and I am certainly getting goosebumps. He's definitely owning the field.
Let martial note in triumph float
And liberty extend its mighty hand;
A flag appears 'mid thunderous cheers,
The banner of the Western land.
The emblem of the brave and true.
Its folds protect no tyrant crew;
The red and white and starry blue
Is freedom's shield and home.
Other nations may deem their flags the best
And cheer them with fervid elation
But the flag of the North and South and West
Is the flag of flags, the flag of Freedom's nation.
Hurrah for the flag of the free!
May it wave as our standard forever,
The gem of the land and the sea,
The banner of the right.
Let despots remember the day
When our fathers with mighty endeavor
Proclaimed as they marched to the fray
That by their might and by their right
It waves forever.
BabyFace takes off!
12-time Grammy Winner Babyface is performing America the Beautiful and getting the crowd emotional at State Farm.
Oh beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife
Who more than self, their country loved
And mercy more than life
America, America may God thy gold refine
'Til all success be nobleness
And every gain divined
And you know when I was in school
We used to sing it something like this, listen here
Oh beautiful, for spacious skies
For amber waves of grain
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain
But now wait a minute, I'm talking about
America, sweet America
You know, God done shed his grace on thee
He crowned thy good, yes he did, in brotherhood
From sea to shining sea
You know, I wish I had somebody to help me sing this
(America, America, God shed his grace on thee)
America, I love you America, you see
My God he done shed his grace on thee
And you oughta love him for it
'Cause he, he, he, he crowned thy good
He told me he would, with brotherhood
(From sea to shining Sea)
Oh Lord, oh Lord, I thank you Lord
(Shining sea)
National anthem coming up soon
Coming up next, Country star ChrisStapleton will be singing the national anthem shortly. Don't go anywhere!
Getting hotter in AZ
The first performance of the pregame show is done, and as the rest of the performers get ready to make some noise in Glendale, we are here covering it all live to make sure you don't miss out on any of the fun
Make sure you don't miss the Eagles-Chiefs game updates as our own Dane Arlauckas covers it in detail.
Super Bowl 2023 is here!
And the Super Bowl has officially begun!
The first song was beautifully sung at State Farm Stadium by Emmy winner Sheryl Lee Ralph, and here are the lyrics:
Lift every voice and sing
Till earth and heaven ring,
Ring with the harmonies of Liberty;
Let our rejoicing rise
High as the listening skies,
Let it resound loud as the rolling sea.
Sing a song full of the faith that the dark past has taught us,
Sing a song full of the hope that the present has brought us,
Facing the rising sun of our new day begun
Let us march on till victory is won.
Stony the road we trod,
Bitter the chastening rod,
Felt in the days when hope unborn had died;
Yet with a steady beat,
Have not our weary feet
Come to the place for which our fathers sighed?
We have come over a way that with tears have been watered,
We have come, treading our path through the blood of the slaughtered,
Out from the gloomy past,
Till now we stand at last
Where the white gleam of our bright star is cast.
God of our weary years,
God of our silent tears,
Thou who has brought us thus far on the way;
Thou who has by Thy might
Led us into the light,
Keep us forever in the path, we pray.
Lest our feet stray from the places, Our God, where we met Thee;
Lest, our hearts drunk with the wine of the world, we forget Thee;
Shadowed beneath Thy hand,
May we forever stand.
True to our GOD,
True to our native land
What were the worst halftime shows ever?
Adam Levine’s unrelieved 2019 appearance and Justin Timberlake’s performance the year before, were both pinned as “the most boring half-time show in the modern era.” But even with that, there was one halftime show that takes the cake for being the worst-ever Super Bowl halftime show: Elvis Presto 1989
What was supposed to be an Elvis Presley impersonator turned into a frightening and corny mess.
The Elvis impersonator acted as a magician doing the strangest magic tricks to the crowd. The audience was not engaged at all. Keep in mind this was in 3D as well—magic tricks in 3D during a football game. While the tricks were occurring, a sponsored video by Diet Coke was playing in the background.
Our own Gidget nicely put together a list of the best and worst halftime show performances in history right here.
Rihanna, bring Tom Holland out!!
Okay, we will NEVER forget Tom Holland's performance lipsync battle. And even though we don't know who Queen Rhi will be grabbing on stage, we know Holland will put on the perfect show
Who performed at the first-ever Super Bowl half-time show?
The first halftime show was produced by Tommy Walker and featured trumpeter Al Hirt, the marching bands from the University of Arizona and Grambling College, and the Ana-Hi-Steppers. Additionally, there were 300 pigeons, 10,000 balloons, and a flying exhibition by the hydrogen-peroxide-propelled Bell Rocket Air Men.
The local high school drill team, the Ana-Hi-Steppers from Anaheim High School, joined the two university marching bands to form an outline of a United States map. This team was chosen because of their connection to Tommy Walker, whose children attended Anaheim High School. He chose the Ana-Hi-Steppers to perform over nationally famous drill teams since he only had three weeks to cast and produce the show.
A Philly Special Christmas
Talking of music, did the Philadelphia Eagles make a Christmas album?
Yes, they did indeed! A Philly Special Christmas is the debut studio album released on December 23, 2022, by Philadelphia Eagles offensive linemen Lane Johnson, Jason Kelce, and Jordan Mailata.
The title of the album is inspired by a trick play run by the Eagles in Super Bowl LII: the Philly Special.
The album consists of covers of original Christmas songs and features duets with Eagles announcer Merrill Reese and players like Jalen Hurts, A. J. Brown, Brandon Graham, Haason Reddick, and Jordan Davis.
Additionally, all proceeds from the album go towards the Children's Crisis Treatment Center in Philadelphia.
Has Rihanna played in Glendale, AZ before?
Yes! Rihanna played in the Pendergast Family Farm in Glendale on January 31, 2015.
Slightly more recently and just over the border in Phoenix, Rihanna played at the Talking Stick Resort Arena on May 1, 2016.
Which are will be joining Rihanna on stage?
As we just mentioned, we believe Jay-Z, whose Roc Nation is executive producing the show, and Drake, who has two hits with Rihanna guaranteed to get the party going, might both be guest stars in Queen Rhi’s performance tonight.
A few rumored guests also believed to join her on stage are past collaborators Calvin Harris, Eminem, SZA, and DJ Khaled, as well as Riri’s partner A$AP Rocky.
This reader, personally, also strongly believes an island girl who is focused on island representation, is only going to drag her other island friends along at the halftime show. And we mean Nicki Minaj. The two artists are said to be great friends, and having the Trinidad & Tobago singer/rapper would represent another Caribbean island at the Super Bowl.
Also, their 2010 song together, Fly, was a pretty good hit back in the day.
Jay Z in AZ!
As we watch the Eagles and Chiefs fans take on the State Farm Stadium, we can't help but notice the latest fan to walk in.
Jay Z is here! And for all of us who believe he will be joining Queen Rhi on stage, it's good to see him there nice and early
DJ Snake warming us up
The stadium is filling up nicely and currently doing the entertaining is DJ Snake (born William Sami Étienne Grigahcine) on the decks.
The Grammy-nominated producer and artist debuted into the international scene with singles "Bird Machine" and "Turn Down for What" in 2013. Find out more if you care.
How much does the halftime show production cost?
The cost of halftime show production can be excessively high, even for just a thirteen-minute segment.
The performance by Jennifer Lopez and Shakira in 2020 reportedly cost the NFL around $13 million. That amount finances the paychecks of up to 3,000 staffers working in the production, as well as other technical elements of the performance that are complicated, like the huge audio equipment that requires 18 carts to move around.
How much do the halftime show artists get paid?
We know what we’re about to say might not make much sense to our readers, but reality can be shocking sometimes. The Super Bowl does NOT pay the chosen halftime show artists who perform at the Big Night.
So despite the “Bitch Better Have My Money” singer performing, she won't be receiving any cash tonight.
Per NFL policy, the League covers all costs related to the production of the show, but the main act doesn't take home a paycheck.
The halftime show at the Super Bowl takes about 13 minutes from start to finish. Hundreds of staff work behind the scenes to build up and dismantle the stage midway point of the Super Bowl game. In total, fans and players get 20-25 minutes of a break filled with entertainment, snacks, and lots of surprises.
What time does the halftime show start?
The Super Bowl matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles is getting underway at 6:30 p.m. ET. This means that the epic halftime show featuring Rihanna will kick off at approximately 8:00 p.m. ET.
The halftime show will naturally start at the midway point of the big game itself, which means we’re looking at an approximate start time of anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours after kickoff.

Lyrics to national anthem songs
Here’s who will be singing the national anthem at the 2023 Super Bowl, in addition to the lyrics of each of the three songs:

Now let’s talk about more powerful women showing up in Glendale, Arizona.
The U.S. Navy has announced that an all-female flight crew will conduct the four aircraft formation flyover during the national anthem at the opening of tonight's Super Bowl in honor of the 50th anniversary of women flying in the U.S. Navy. Our Cal did this little piece covering it.
As with all customary flyovers at NFL Super Bowls, the four-ship aircraft formation will try to time their appearance over State Farm Stadium as perfectly as possible to coincide with the final notes of the national anthem.
And this brings us to the next point, the national anthem…
The 2022 Super Bowl halftime show in Los Angeles saw a parade of hip-hop royalty, with Dr. Dre joined on stage by Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige, with guests 50 Cent and Anderson Paak.
Ahead of tonight's performance you can relive it all here.
Obviously it's not just Shakira from the music industry that will be watching and singing along tonight.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and R&B singer H.E.R. sat down for an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 to talk about Rihanna’s upcoming Super Bowl LVII half time show.
Both artists have had the headline honor at the Super Bowl before, with Coldplay performing along with Beyoncé and Bruno Mars in 2016, and H.E.R. singing ‘America the Beautiful’ during the opening ceremony in 2021.
Jen takes a look at what they were saying.
Shakira sending best vibes to Rihanna
Will our star for tonight be feeling any nerves? It's certainly a big event although she's pretty used to the limelight.
Well, no doubt a little good vibe wishing from someone who's done this gig before will give her the necessary boost. Thanks Shakira!
Why is Rihanna considered one of the best artists out there?
Born in Barbados, Rihanna, a once-in-a-generation artist, is about to steal the show in the halftime show at State Farm Stadium after five years of being absent from the stage.
Her last tour was in 2016 at the ‘ANTI World Tour and her last performance on stage was during the 2018 Grammy Award Show held at New York’s Madison Square Garden alongside DJ
Khaled and Bryson Tiller.
Since then, the Barbadian has instead been focusing on building her Fenty Beauty and fashion brand, and on being a mother to her nine-month-old son with rapper A$AP Rocky.
The nine-time Grammy Award winner, who’s also a 12-time Billboard Music Award winner, has recently been nominated for Best Original Song [Lift Me Up] at the upcoming Academy Awards.
Her company Savage X Fenty has sold out of special edition T-shirts reading, “Rihanna Concert Interrupted by a Football Game, Weird But Whatever.”
With 14 consecutive No. 1s on the Billboard charts and more than 60 million albums sold, few can compare to the international artist.

Super Bowl 2023 halftime show prep
Following in the footsteps of Lady Gaga, J. Lo, Shakira, and Madonna, Rihanna is taking on Arizona’s State Farm Stadium for the 13-minute halftime performance with fans buzzing at the anticipated “Rhiturn.”
The Grammy-winning singer said in a press conference with Apple Music that the selection of songs was “the hardest part... deciding how to maximize 13 minutes… You’re trying to cram 17 years of work into 13 minutes … but I think we did a good job of reducing it,” said Riri.
