Update:

By tomorrow night, we will know which teams are going to Super Bowl LX. The Conference Championships kick off with the AFC Title Game between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots.

The game, taking place at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, has recently become much more affordable than its NFC counterpart in Seattle, with ticket prices dropping from the $1000 range to below $400.

Ticket prices for Broncos-Pats AFC Title Game drop below $400

The Denver Broncos not only clinched the AFC West but also the No. 1 overall seed in the conference. After being gifted a bye week in the Wild Card Round, thy played their first postseason game last week, beating the Buffalo Bills 33-30 in the Divisional Round.

Ahead of the Divisional game, Ticketmaster had priced the cheapest Conference Round tickets at around $1,200. The highest were selling for more than $10,000. Seat Geek had a similar price range, with the cheapest nosebleed seats going for around $1,000 and the front-row seats from anywhere between $4,000 and $10,000.

Unfortunately for Denver, their starting quarterback Bo Nix was injured at the end of the game against Buffalo and will miss the rest of the postseason. That brought the price of tickets way down, with the cost dropping lower still as the game approaches.

Ticketmaster was selling the cheapest seats for $499 a pop on Tuesday, while the best were between $1,000 and $3,000. But by Friday, prices had gone down to $352 a seat for the cheapest if buying two together. SeatGeek’s dropped to $365.

Meanwhile, seats at the NFC Championship game between the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field are still priced in the $650 range at the lowest.

On top of Nix’s injury, Denver is expecting to get hit with a snowstorm and frigid temperatures, making attending the game in person a lot less appealing for Broncos fans. Still, this is Denver’s first Conference Championship since the Peyton-Manning era ten years ago, so the lack of demand is a bit surprising.

Kickoff from Mile High at Empower Field is set for 3 p.m. ET (5 p.m. local time) on Sunday. If you aren’t interested in buying a ticket to the game (despite these epically low prices), you can follow along with our live coverage of the game right here on AS USA.
