Kendrick Lamar’s brutal attack on Drake during the Super Bowl Halftime Show
The Compton rapper performed at the Halftime Show of the Super Bowl, and it was as exciting as expected.

Oh yeah, he went there. Kendrick went there, stomping around like a horse wearing oversize wellies all over Drake, presumably now buried somewhere deep underneath Caesars Superdome.
The Compton rapper made headlines all throughout last year thanks to a series of songs released in a highly-publicised rap battle with Drake. While many people had opinions on ‘who won’, all of those who said the Canadian came out on top were wrong. Kendrick brought his A-game to the table, showing people a facet of his personality that we imagined was there, but were never quite sure.

And so came the Super Bowl. Kendrick took to the stage and performed with SZA, a singer-songwriter with whom he has various songs, most notably from his newest project, GNX.
After warming up the crowd with HUMBLE, DNA and Euphoria, then came the song everyone was waiting for: Not Like Us, the tune that signalled the end of the rap feud with Drake and sealed both the victory and the Canadian’s coffin. He had hinted at the song multiple times during the set, but it was always hilariously interrupted...
The crowd went wild, singing along to every note and line aimed at Drake, literally on the other side of the world (touring in Australia), as far away as he could possibly be. And yes, they all held that a-minooor note.

It was a night to remember for Kendrick, for his fans, for the NFL and for rap music as a whole.
