Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce recommends that Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa retires from the game after the number of concussions the 26-year-old has suffered:

“It’s not worth it… You’re going to live longer than you’re going to play football. Take care of your family!”, Pierce said.

The Raiders coach added: “It’s not worth it. I’ve never seen anything like what happened to him three times. It’s scary. You can see the faces of the players on the field immediately.”

Previously, Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said he would not rush Tua's return to action.

“I’m not going to do anything to make things worse or hurt any of our players… There are a lot of people who have a vested interest in the Miami Dolphins, but questioning the timeline creates anxiety,” McDaniel said.

For now, McDaniel confirmed that backup quarterback Skylar Thompson will continue to be the starter with the Dolphins until Tua Tagovailoa returns.
