As much as most will be focusing on the Chiefs’ on field heroics in their 38-35 Super Bowl win, or even Rihanna’s Half Time Show performance, there will likely be some who are chatting about a lesser-known face that we got to know on Sunday night, the daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, Gracie. Indeed, as the granddaughter of the legendary Lamar Hunt, the man who coined the “Super Bowl,” she’s got football in her blood and by all accounts, she intends to use that to her advantage.

Who is the Chiefs owner’s daughter Gracie Hunt?

At 23-years-old, Gracie Hunt is daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt and his wife, Tavia. As we mentioned before, she’s also an athlete, a model, philanthropist and of course, a Chiefs fan. What we didn’t say, is that she was actually a very good sportswoman, helping her soccer team to win a state championship before earning a spot on SMU’s roster, and also the winner of 2021′s Miss Kansas USA. Incidentally, Gracie’s mother Tavia won the same crown 28 years ago, in addition to Miss Missouri Teen USA as well, which is to say the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.

To be fair, many fans probably got their first introduction to Gracie during this past week, as she posted continually about her experiences behind the scenes in the days prior to the Super Bowl. From videos of players taking questions, to parties which she attended with her father, her posts were a constant showcase of the fanfare that precedes the big game. “It’s been the most amazing day,’ she gushed. ‘This experience has felt so surreal until now, but now it feels real. Just getting to be with everyone...Oh my goodness, I’m feeling all the emotions. I’m so excited, I’m invigorated. Happy Super Bowl week.”

What is Gracie Hunt doing today?

To be perfectly honest, Gracie is an extremely busy young woman at the moment. According to her website, she currently works in the Chiefs’ PR department and also acts as a brand ambassador for the NFL itself. All of this, while pursuing a Master’s degree in Sports Management at the University of Kansas. When she’s not doing that, she finds time to volunteer as a Unified Champion Ambassador for Special Olympics and at her own foundation, Breaking Barriers Through Sports, which “promotes respect and inclusion worldwide.” In recent days, she’s seen her followers on Instagram climb to more than 269,000, while even featuring on the cover of Maxim magazine in the buildup to the Super Bowl. Ultimately, Gracie Hunt is an impressive young woman, but also one who seems to have a bright future in the NFL at corporate level. Watch this space.
