If we’re honest, this weekend is probably the biggest of UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya’s career, as he prepares to take on the sensational Alex Pereira. As one of UFC’s best right here and now, you’d think it should be another day at the office for Adesanya, but here’s the thing: these two have met twice before albeit in professional kickboxing matches, but Pereira won on both occasions. With that in mind, UFC 281 is going to be a blockbuster event and that’s even before we get into the undercard. We should mention, that despite their previous meetings ending in a pair of wins for Pereira, the reality is Adesanya still remains the heavy favorite for the fight.
