The Bruins’ outstanding goalkeeper stopped 28 of 29 shots by the home team in Sunrise, FL, earning the title of player of the game. This victory against the Florida Panthers brought the series score to 3-2 in favor of the Panthers. Swayman confidently announced that the next game would be played in Massachusetts again. The upcoming match is scheduled for Friday at 10 p.m.

Florida, which had its series lead cut to 3-2, scored 15 goals on 107 shots in Games 2, 3, and 4 combined, resulting in Panthers wins. However, on Tuesday, the Panthers were limited to 29 shots, and Swayman appeared to be in total control throughout the game.

The night’s highlight was Swayman’s incredible save with only 8 seconds left in the game, blocking a shot from Florida left winger Sam Reinhart. Coach Jim Montgomery praised Swayman’s confidence and coolness, which boosted the team’s morale.

Charlie McAvoy and Morgan Geekie each scored, leading the Bruins to a 2-0 score in elimination games in these playoffs because they faced similar elimination in the first round when they won Game 7 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Bruins’ next challenge is to improve their 2-0 record in elimination games to 4-0 if they want to advance to the conference finals against the winner of the New York Rangers - Carolina Hurricanes series, which currently stands at 3-2 in favor of the Rangers.

In the West, the Edmonton Oilers secured a 3-2 victory against the Vancouver Canucks, tying the series at 2-2 with Evan Bouchard’s goal just 38 seconds before the end of the game.
