Barcelona vs Real Madrid: Copa del Rey final, El Clásico, score, stats and updates

Hansi Flick knows exactly what team he will send out on Saturday (4:00 p.m. ET) at La Cartuja Stadium as Barcelona chase the Copa del Rey title. The German manager won’t hold anything back, deploying his best available lineup to face Real Madrid.

In Barcelona’s recent league match against Mallorca, Flick already offered a glimpse of his plans. He rested five key starters: Raphinha, Pau Cubarsí, Frenkie de Jong, Jules Koundé, and Gerard Martín, the left-back filling in for the injured Alejandro Balde.

One notable absence will be Robert Lewandowski, sidelined with a hamstring injury. But Flick places full confidence in Ferran Torres, who is enjoying a stellar run of form, to lead the line.

Barcelona’s expected XI for Copa del Rey final

In goal, Wojciech Szczesny is expected to start, even with Marc-André ter Stegen fit again. The backline will be anchored by Íñigo Martínez and Cubarsí in central defense, with Koundé and Martín patrolling the flanks.

In midfield, Frenkie de Jong will take the holding role, supported by Pedri and Dani Olmo. Up front, Ferran Torres will slot in as the striker, flanked by Lamine Yamal – sporting platinum blonde hair – and Raphinha.

Flick’s tactical clarity signals Barcelona’s intent: no experiments, no surprises – just their best shot at a first piece of silverware.
