A look at the end of season in the major five European Leagues as the curtain comes down on the 2021-22 season.
The 2021-22 season came to a close on Sunday with drama in many corners of the continent as sides pushed for the title in England and Italy. Relegation battles also ensued as Granada, Cagliari and Burnley all bade farewell to the top flights in Spain, Italy and England respectively.
With the curtain having come down on the season (bar relegation-promotion games in France and Germany) we take a look at champions, sides qualified for European football next season and the relegated teams who will play in the second tiers of England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France.
