Christian Pulisic open to leave Chelsea in the winter

The United States men’s national team ace is not happy with his lack of playing time at Stamford Bridge and anything can happen in soccer.

Christian Pulisic had an impressive participation at the 2022 FIFA World Cup with the United States by scoring one goal and providing two assists in four appearances. The 24-year-old led the USMNT’s attack during the tournament and was heartbroken following the defeat against the Netherlands during the quarter-finals.

After taking some time off, he has returned to Chelsea to prepare for the second part of the season, but his situation is not ideal at Stamford Bridge. Christian Pulisic has fallen from the starting XI this season and he is usually used as a substitute under newly appointed manager Graham Potter.

Pulisic’ future is up in the air

The United States international is focused to resume the season with Chelsea, but he is open to leave during the upcoming transfer window in search of more playing time. During the World Cup it was reported that Manchester United was keen on signing Christian Pulisic as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who parted ways with the Red Devils last month.

Other teams that seem to be interested in the American are Arsenal and Newcastle and Chelsea will be listening to offers. Pulisic appeared in Indirect, a podcast that is hosted by Steve Schlanger and USMNT teammate Tim Ream, and he talked about his situation with the Premier League side and what the future holds for him.

“Right now I’m absolutely back at Chelsea, focused and ready to finish the season. But you know how things work in football... things change quickly and anything can happen. At the moment, I am just pushing myself in training and working at Chelsea, because that’s where I am right now,” said the 24-year-old.
