Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano is one of the few Mexicans who orbits in the top tier of European football. His team, Napoli, are the leaders in Serie A, four points behind rivals Juventus, and just recently gave up an unbeaten 15-game streak to Inter Milan .

Being an important piece in coach Luciano Spalletti’s scheme, the ex-Pachuca youth player is on the radar of two top teams in the English Premier League that are both currently in the the top 3 of the competition: Arsenal and Newcastle United, as reported by journalist, Ekrem Konur.

No distractions for Lozano

For the moment, ‘Chucky’ has not said anything about the rumours as he is 100 percent focused on Napoli and the challenges that the second part of this season holds for him, such as the possibility of winning the Serie A title (something Napoli have not done since Maradona’s departure) and the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 match against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Dzeko scored the only goal in Inter's 1-0 win over Napoli to end their unbeaten run in Serie A.

Arsenal and Newcastle, the revelations in England

This season, the emergence of the ‘Gunners’ and the ‘Magpies’ in the Premier League has been surprising to say the least. In a league with historical clubs such as Manchester United, Liverpool or more recently, Manchester City, two teams that had lost their elite status are dominating what is considered by many to be the best league in the world. Arsenal are the league leaders while Newcastle sit in third place: if it continues like this, the following season Eddie Howe’s side could play in the Champions League, a huge source of attraction for any footballer.
