Europa League 2024 quarter-finals and semi-finals draw: Teams, fixtures, dates and pairings
Liverpool face Atalanta in the last eight, with AC Milan, Roma and Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen all still in contention for the trophy.

The quarter-finals of the 2023/24 Europa League get underway on Thursday (11 April), with Premier League title hopefuls Liverpool playing Atalanta and seven-time European champions AC Milan taking on fellow Italian side Roma. Jürgen Klopp’s side and the Serie A giants will both play at home in the first leg this week.
In the other two ties, Bayer Leverkusen will host the first leg of their tie against West Ham, while Benfica will start with home advantage against Marseille.
The draw in Nyon, which took place immediately after the round of 16, also defined the bracket for the semi-finals. The winners of the Benfica - Marseille clash will face Liverpool or Atalanta, while either Milan or Roma will play Leverkusen or West Ham in the other last-four clash.

What happens if there’s a tie?
The away goals rule is no longer in play in UEFA competitions, which means ties will go to extra time (two periods of 15 minutes) if the teams are level after 180 minutes. If they still cannot be separated, a penalty shootout will follow.
Europa League round of 16 second leg results
Liverpool posted the most eye-catching victory in the round of 16, thrashing Czech side Sparta Prague 11-2 on aggregate as they continue their push to win three trophies. They already have the Carabao Cup in bag and are level on points with Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.
However, the most dramatic win was undoubtedly Bayer Leverkusen’s. The unbeaten Bundesliga leaders - and champions-elect - scored two injury-time goals to knock out Azerbaijani side Qarabag.
