Galatasaray fans sneak into Anfield despite Champions League ban
Despite being banned by UEFA, fans of the Turkish club managed to get inside Liverpool’s stadium for the game.

Something-something about getting where water can’t. Something else about the physical form of a dedicated football fan being thinner than air, more persistent than a dripping tap, as determined as a sperm. Despite being banned by European football’s governing body, Galatasaray fans made it inside Liverpool’s Anfield fortress and set up their own ‘away end’ for the travelling party.
Videos circulating across social media platforms, like the video above and the photo below, show fans of the Turkish side making camp in the Anfield stands ahead of kick-off in the Champions League Round of 16 second leg game on Merseyside.
This footage comes after a night of flares and fire across Liverpool, with huge numbers making the trip from Turkey without a ticket, with the sole purpose of supporting team while having fun.
