Keylor Navas continues to be the most important and consistent player for Nottingham Forest since arriving in late January. The Reds lost 3-1 against Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend in another road match and the Costa Rica international was unable to keep a clean sheet for the fifth consecutive game.

Since arriving in the Premier League, Navas has conceded 12 goals in six appearances and has only been able to keep one clean sheet. Nottingham Forest wants to stay in England’s top tier next season but they are currently in 14th place in the standings with 26 points, two ahead of Bournemouth, who are in the relegation zone.

Navas’ Forest in desperate need on a Premier League win

It’s hard but it’s time to keep working… Every day stronger! Always together!” wrote Keylor Navas on his social media accounts following the defeat against Tottenham over the weekend. Forest will have to regroup quickly because they have a short week ahead of them and they desperately need a win.

Nottingham Forest will host Newcastle United at the City Ground on matchday 28 of the Premier League. This will be a very tough fixture for the Reds because the Magpies are aiming for a top-four finish by the end of the campaign to play in the Champions League next year.
