Update:

After a failed attempt to sign Chelsea’s Thiago Silva, Rio giants Fluminense have confirmed that another club icon is returning after the news that Marcelo will return to the outfit after 17 seasons away.

After a hugely successful spell with Real Madrid where the defender secured six LaLiga wins along with five Champions League titles among others, the 34-year-old left-back had a brief and ultimately unsuccessful spell with Greek top flight side Olympiacos.

His term with the Piraeus based Greek side ended after just five months with both sides agreeing to terminate the existing deal.
